Cashback Terms and Conditions

Important notice: These Cashback Terms apply to the cashback product offered by Bleap. Cashback is a product feature made available by Bleap in connection with the Bleap Card and is separate from card issuance, e-money issuance and card scheme processing provided by Unlimit.

Cashback is subject to eligibility, availability, fair usage limits, exclusions, reversals and clawbacks. Cashback offers, rates, limits and promotions may be changed, suspended or withdrawn in accordance with these Terms.

Your use of the Bleap Card remains governed by the Bleap Cardholder Terms and Unlimit’s terms. These Cashback Terms apply only to cashback and do not change the terms that apply to the Card, your Bleap Wallet, card transactions, direct debit authorisations, settlement, disputes, fees, suspension or termination of Card access.

1. Relationship with Cardholder Terms

1.1 Application

These Cashback Terms apply in addition to the Bleap Cardholder Terms.

Terms defined in the Cardholder Terms have the same meaning in these Cashback Terms unless stated otherwise.

1.2 Conflict

If there is any conflict between these Cashback Terms and the Cardholder Terms in relation to cashback, these Cashback Terms apply.

For all other matters relating to the Card, the Cardholder Terms continue to apply.

2. Earning Cashback

2.1 Eligible purchases

Cashback may be earned on eligible purchases made using your Bleap Card (virtual or physical), subject to these Terms and any applicable fair usage limits.

Cashback is earned only once an eligible transaction has settled, unless otherwise stated.

2.2 Cashback calculation

Cashback is calculated based on the transaction amount and applicable category, merchant, or promotional rate at the time of purchase. Different categories and merchants may earn different cashback rates.

2.3 Cashback rates, limits and promotional periods

Details of applicable cashback rates, limits, and promotional periods are set out in the Fair Usage Limits table.

2.4 Cashback crediting

Unless otherwise stated, cashback is credited in USDC to your Bleap Wallet once the underlying transaction is settled.

2.5 Automatic earning

Cashback is earned automatically on eligible transactions. There is no requirement to opt in, activate, or manage cashback manually.

3. Fair Usage Limits

3.1 Application of fair usage limits

All cashback is subject to fair usage limits, which may apply per transaction, per month, or per year, depending on the category, merchant, or promotion.

3.2 Purpose of limits

These limits are designed to ensure cashback is used for genuine personal spending and to prevent misuse.

3.3 Payment amount caps

Unless stated otherwise, fair usage caps refer to the maximum eligible payment amount on which cashback may be calculated, not the maximum cashback amount payable.

3.4 Current rates and limits

Current limits and applicable rates are listed in the Fair Usage Limits table.

3.6 Amendments to rates, limits and promotional periods

Bleap reserves the right to amend cashback rates, limits, and promotional periods at any time. Updated limits will be reflected in-app and in these Terms.

4. Excluded Transactions

4.1 General exclusions

Cashback is not available on certain transaction types and merchant categories.

Excluded transactions include, but are not limited to, money transfers, financial services, gambling, tax payments, and other restricted transaction types.

4.2 Listed merchants and excluded transactions

A merchant listed in the Fair Usage Limits table is not guaranteed to be eligible if the transaction is processed under an excluded Merchant Category Code, as an excluded transaction type, or as a cash-like transaction.

4.3 Excluded Merchant Category Codes

The following Merchant Category Codes (MCCs) are not eligible for Cashback:

• Curve cards

Gambling and Betting

• Casinos, lotteries, & race betting: 7995, 7800, 7801, 7802

Government and Tax Payments

• Taxes & fines: 9311, 9222, 9223
• Court costs & bail payments: 9211
• Government services & loans: 9399, 9402, 9405, 9411

Utilities and Essential Services

• Electricity, gas, water, sanitation: 4900

Retail and Miscellaneous

4.4 Cash-like transactions

Additionally, purchases that are considered cash-like transactions, including payments to financial service providers, gambling, gift cards, currency exchange, or similar transactions, do not qualify for cashback.

5. Reversals and Clawbacks

5.1 Cashback reversal or clawback

Bleap may reverse or claw back cashback if:

• the underlying transaction is refunded, reversed, or cancelled;
• the cashback was obtained fraudulently;
• the cashback was earned in breach of these Terms; or
• cashback was credited in error.

5.2 Insufficient funds

If cashback is reversed and there are insufficient funds in your Bleap account to recover the amount, you remain responsible for repaying the balance.

5.3 Recovery of outstanding amounts

Bleap may attempt to recover any outstanding amount through linked payment methods, direct debit, set-off against other balances, or other lawful means.

5.4 Legal action and costs

If necessary, legal action may be taken to recover amounts owed, and you may be responsible for any associated costs.

6. Changes and Availability

6.1 Availability of cashback

Cashback offers, rates, limits, and promotions are subject to availability and may be changed, suspended, or withdrawn at any time, without prior notice.

6.2 Suspension or removal from cashback

Bleap may suspend, withdraw, or remove your access to cashback immediately and without prior notice, where lawful, including where we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, abuse of the cashback programme, breach of these Cashback Terms, breach of the Cardholder Terms, eligibility issues, legal or regulatory reasons, risk or security concerns, or operational reasons.

6.2 Communication of changes

Where possible, changes will be communicated in-app or via official Bleap communications.

6.3 Continued use

Continued use of the Bleap Card after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated cashback terms.
