Bleap Referrals Terms and Conditions

Important notice: These Referral Terms apply to the referral product offered by Bleap. The Referral Program is a product feature made available by Bleap in connection with the Bleap app.

Referral rewards are subject to eligibility, availability, Active Campaign requirements, verification, exclusions, fraud checks, reversals and clawbacks. Referral campaigns, requirements, rewards and timelines may be changed, suspended or withdrawn in accordance with these Terms.

Your use of the Bleap app, Bleap Card and Bleap Wallet remains governed by the applicable Bleap terms, including the Bleap Cardholder Terms where relevant. These Referral Terms apply only to the Referral Program and do not change the terms that apply to your Bleap account, Bleap Wallet, Card, card transactions, direct debit authorisations, settlement, disputes, fees, suspension or termination of Card access.

1. Relationship with Other Terms

1.1 Application

These Referral Terms apply in addition to the applicable Bleap terms, including the Bleap Cardholder Terms where the Referral Program requires use of the Bleap Card.

Terms defined in the applicable Bleap terms have the same meaning in these Referral Terms unless stated otherwise.

1.2 Conflict

If there is any conflict between these Referral Terms and other Bleap terms in relation to the Referral Program, these Referral Terms apply.

For all other matters relating to the Bleap app, Bleap account, Bleap Wallet or Bleap Card, the applicable Bleap terms continue to apply.

2. Referral Eligibility

2.1 Valid referral

For a referral to be valid and counted toward any Active Campaign, the Referring User and the Referred User must satisfy all applicable requirements shown in the Bleap app and in these Terms.

A referral will only be considered complete once Bleap has verified that all requirements for the relevant Active Campaign have been met.

2.2 Referring User

The Referring User must have a valid Bleap account and must share their personal Referral Link through the Bleap app.

Referral Links are personal to the Referring User and may not be sold, transferred, assigned, exchanged or used for commercial referral activity unless expressly permitted by Bleap.

2.3 Referred User

For a referral to be considered valid, the Referred User must:

• register on Bleap using the Referring User’s Referral Link;
• successfully complete the identity verification process, including KYC;
• be eligible to use Bleap; and
• not already have a Bleap account.

Each person can only be referred once.

2.4 Qualifying funding and transaction requirements

Where required by an Active Campaign, the Referred User must complete the qualifying funding and transaction requirements shown in the Bleap app.

Unless stated otherwise in the applicable Active Campaign, the Referred User must:

• make a bank transfer to top up their Bleap account; and
• complete at least three payment transactions of at least five euros (€5) each with the Bleap Card.

Other types of top-ups are not eligible unless expressly stated in the applicable Active Campaign.

Quasi-cash payments, including gambling, gift cards, person-to-person transfers, or similar transactions, will not count as valid purchases.

2.5 Invalid transactions

Pending, reversed, refunded, cancelled, disputed, fraudulent or otherwise invalid transactions will not count toward referral requirements.

3. Active Campaigns and Rewards

3.1 Active Campaigns

The Referral Program may include several Active Campaigns running simultaneously, each with its own requirements and rewards.

The currently available campaigns can be seen inside the app in the “Rewards” page.

3.2 Campaign-specific requirements

Each Active Campaign may have different eligibility criteria, qualifying actions, reward amounts, reward types, limits, deadlines, and verification requirements.

A referral must satisfy the requirements of the relevant Active Campaign to qualify for a reward.

3.3 Reward availability

Rewards are subject to availability and may vary by campaign, user, territory, eligibility status, or other criteria shown in the app.

Participation in the Referral Program does not guarantee that a reward will be granted.

4. Reward Crediting

4.1 Reward crediting

Cash or equivalent rewards will be credited to the Referring User’s Bleap account once Bleap has verified that all applicable requirements have been met.

Credit timelines may vary and will be communicated via the app.

4.2 No reward before verification

Rewards are not earned until Bleap has verified that the referral is valid and that all requirements of the relevant Active Campaign have been satisfied.

4.3 Delays

Reward crediting may be delayed where additional checks are required, where transactions remain pending, or where Bleap reasonably suspects fraud, misuse, abuse, error, technical issues, or non-compliance with these Terms.

5. Fraud and Misuse

5.1 Prohibited conduct

The following conduct is strictly prohibited:

• creating fake accounts or using fictitious identities;
• self-referral through direct or indirect methods;
• manipulating transactions solely to reach eligibility thresholds;
• using stolen, false, misleading or inaccurate information;
• using multiple accounts, devices, identities or payment methods to abuse the Referral Program;
• publishing Referral Links through spam, paid ads, misleading promotions, unsolicited messages, or any unlawful channel;
• attempting to bypass eligibility requirements or campaign limits;
• any other method that undermines the spirit of the Referral Program.

5.2 Detection of misuse

Bleap may use internal systems, third-party providers and manual review to detect suspected fraud, misuse, abuse, duplication, suspicious activity or breach of these Terms.

5.3 Action by Bleap

Bleap may suspend or cancel a user’s participation, reject or void referrals, withhold rewards, revoke already-granted rewards, suspend access to the Referral Program, and take appropriate legal action upon detecting or reasonably suspecting fraudulent conduct, misuse, abuse or breach of these Terms without any prior notice.

6. Reversals and Clawbacks

6.1 Reward reversal or clawback

Bleap may reverse, withhold or claw back a referral reward if:

• the referral was fraudulent, duplicated, ineligible, incomplete or invalid;
• the reward was granted in error;
• the Referring User or Referred User breached these Terms or other applicable Bleap terms;
• a qualifying transaction is refunded, reversed, cancelled, disputed, charged back or otherwise invalidated;
• Bleap reasonably suspects misuse, abuse, manipulation or artificial activity;
• the Referred User’s account is closed, suspended or restricted before requirements are verified;
• required KYC, compliance, fraud or risk checks are not completed or are failed.

6.2 Insufficient funds

If a reward is reversed and there are insufficient funds in the user’s Bleap account or Bleap Wallet to recover the amount, the user remains responsible for repaying the balance.

6.3 Recovery of outstanding amounts

Bleap may attempt to recover any outstanding amount through set-off against rewards or other amounts owed to the user, direct debit where applicable, or other lawful means.

6.4 Legal action and costs

If necessary, legal action may be taken to recover amounts owed, and the user may be responsible for any associated costs.

7. Suspension or Removal from the Referral Program

7.1 Suspension or removal

Bleap may suspend, withdraw, restrict or remove a user’s access to the Referral Program immediately where lawful, including where Bleap reasonably suspects fraud, misuse, abuse of the Referral Program, breach of these Referral Terms, breach of other applicable Bleap terms, eligibility issues, legal or regulatory reasons, risk or security concerns, technical issues, or operational reasons.

7.2 Effect of suspension or removal

If a user is suspended, restricted or removed from the Referral Program, pending referrals and unpaid rewards may be withheld, rejected, voided or cancelled.

8. Modification and Termination of the Program

8.1 Changes to the Referral Program

Bleap reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Referral Program or any Active Campaign at any time and without prior notice, for operational, legal, regulatory, risk, security, technical, or business reasons.

8.2 Updates to Referral Terms

Bleap may update these Referral Terms at any time, with changes taking effect upon publication in the app or on the Bleap website.

8.3 Continued participation

Continued participation in the Referral Program after any modification is published constitutes acceptance of those changes.
