How to Protect Your Bleap Account: Security & Official Communication Guide
Learn how to protect your Bleap account with simple security best practices. Discover what Bleap will never ask for, how official communication works, and how to avoid common crypto scams.

How to Protect Your Bleap Account: Security and Official Communication
Self-custody means you hold your own password or keys and control your own funds, no one else can move them or access them without your say-so. That control comes with one simple responsibility: knowing what to share, and what not to share.
The Two Things to Never Share:
- Never share your backup password/private key.
- Never share access to your account.
If you keep these two things private, there is very little a third-party can do, no matter how convincing the story.
How Bleap Communicates With You
Knowing our official communication style makes it easy to spot anything that isn't really us. Bleap communicates via in-app notifications, emails or blog posts.
Bleap will:
- Never call you asking for a transfer, your login details, your access password/keys.
- Never ask you to send crypto or move funds to a third party.
If something feels off don't click, call or share anything. Instead, open the Bleap app and check your account directly, or reach out through official Bleap support (support@bleap.finance).
